The Reiryuu Clan

Bio: The Reiryuu clan thrived away from society, and were found just outside the Leaf village. They were very secretive, and preferred to teach their children the ninja arts themselves rather than sending them to the Academy in Konoha. The choice on whether they did was up to the children. Once a child reached the age of seven, it was traditional that the head of the clan put them through tests to see whether they had the Reiryuu kekkei genkai, a doujutsu named the Youso no Me. It was uncommon even within the clan, and was considered a great honour if a child had it. They would be treated with the utmost respect by all the other Reiryuu's, and trained personally by the clan's head. The clan was very peaceful, until a man found their compound and slaughtered all the members, leaving only Emi alive. He wore a plain white mask with only two seeing-holes, and his identity was never revealed. After almost a decade of experimenting and forced killings of other ninja, Emi escaped, returning briefly to the ruins of what was once her home. She destroyed any remaining scrolls of the Reiryuu's secret techniques, especially those containing information on the Youso no Me, and blew up the entire residence. She disappeared for years after that, and now the Reiryuu clan is thought to be completely destroyed except for Emi.

Bloodline: The Youso no Me; a doujutsu that allows complete control and conjuring of seven elements. The user concentrates on the element they wish to control (usually by saying it outloud as it helps concentration), and said element will appear within the iris and pupil of the eyes. Once it does, the element can be entirely controlled, and conjured on command. This also allows jutsu to be performed at higher levels.

The drawbacks of using the Youso no Me is that the user's chakra is depleted very quickly. If someone strains too much by using the kekkei genkai, they can pass out from exhaustion, and possibly go into a coma. It also shortens their lifespan, but this doesn't affect Emi since her life is currently frozen. If she were ever to regain the process of aging, she would then suffer from this disadvantage. It's also the reason why there weren't many users of the Youso no Me still alive past the age of 30, back when the clan was still thriving. Also, when training with it, especially if the user is inexperienced, it can be very dangerous as the elements are very hard to control at first. Some members have been injured in the process of training, in the past.
