Reclusive

Desperate for a way out, he screamed and yelled about how Itachi was right and how pathetic he really was. His mind would give out soon, before even 10 minutes were over. All of his beatings and hollow words were just a front to hide a weak-minded, pathetic excuse for a man.

"Don't think because you agree with me that your torture will end. I told you I would Tsukuyomi you until your mind shattered like glass and I intend to do that. You can't harm Kurai and her friend Emi anymore if your mind is shattered into oblivion. 71 hours, 50 minutes, 35 seconds remaining" he said coldly.

Soon, he felt a shattering in his mind, finally losing his sanity and his consciousness. He dropped to the ground, causing Kurais gaze to drift from Itachis arm slightly.

Itachi ended the Tsukuyomi and deactivated his Mangekyou Sharingan. He turned to Kurai and gave her an almost smile. "It is done. His mind is no more" he said.

She paused for a moment, looking from Itachi to her father and back to Itachi again. She shakily stepped forward and hugged him, feeling a mix of relief and fear. The only fear she felt was from the screaming. Such torture had definitely shocked her.

He hugged her back softly, letting her know that he was there for her.

She relaxed slightly as her shoulders became less hunched. She took a deep breath and opened her eyes a fraction. Finally feeling that it was safe to do so, she lifted her head up so it was no longer buried in Itachis cloak.

"Are you OK Kurai?" he asked her.

She nodded slowly.
"It was...Just a bit of a shock for me is all...First time i've seen the guy in years and probably the last time i ever will..."

"Yes, I see. What do you want me to do with this man?" he asked her as he pointed to her now insane father.

She looked at her father and suddenly her expression changed. It became cold and harsh, like she was back in Konoha.
"...Do what you will... He brought it on himself, as long as i can land the final blow i couldnt care less.."

"Then kill him and be done with it" he said as he handed her a kunai.

She shook her head.
"I dont need that..."
She let Itachi go and turned to her father, who was whimpering pathetically on the ground. She raised her hand as a shadow extended, travelling up his body in the shape of two hands.
"Shadow Neck Bind...."
She murmured as the hands got a firm hold of his throat.

Itachi put the kunai back in his pouch and watched her with his arms crossed.

She kept her hand extended but swiftly shut her eyes and turned her head away, clenching her outstretched hand into a fist. There was a coughing sound before a snap, and her fathers head drooped forwards.

"So, his life has finally come to an end" said Itachi.

She nodded, dropping her hand back to her side.
"I guess...I'm finally free now.."

"Yes, you are" he said as he pulled her close and kissed her lightly.

Free...Heh, never thought i'd ever get to say that word..
She thought as she smiled, kissing him back.
