| Name: Kisame Hoshigaki Age: 29 Gender: Male Village: Formerly of the Mist Rank: S-Class Missing-nin and Akatsuki Looks: Personality: Kisame is rather battle-loving, enjoying to fight with others. However, Kisame is usually forced to leave a fight, being paired with Itachi (who only fights when necessary). When this happens, he has been known to inform his opponent(s) that they "don't know how lucky they are." Like other characters who have trained to be one of the Seven Ninja Swordsmen, Kisame enjoys mutilating his opponents, as seen when he suggested cutting off Naruto's legs to make him easier to carry, and to prevent the latter from escaping on foot.[3] Kisame is one of the few members of Akatsuki that got along well with his partner. Kisame was very loyal to Itachi, willing to take any commands he was given without question, and constantly looked out for his well-being. Although Kisame does have his pride, he acknowledged Itachi as the stronger of the duo. Madara has noted that, out of all of Akatsuki, Kisame was the closest to Itachi, implying that they were indeed good friends. Ever since their first encounter he has had a deep loathing for Might Guy, since Guy seems to continue to agitate him by not remembering who Kisame is. Clan: None Bio: Kisame is a former member of Kirigakure's Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist, an ever-changing group of ninja that wield particularly large weapons in battle. While in Kiri, Kisame was given the title of "Monster of the Hidden Mist". He is also known to have formed a connection to Suigetsu Hozuki and his brother. His former country, the Land of Water, now seek him out, for plotting to overthrow its government and being involved in numerous assassinations, including one of a feudal lord of an unknown country. Kisame later joined Akatsuki, and was partnered with Itachi Uchiha. Pain stated that his reason for joining Akatsuki was "spite". Element/s: Water and Earth

| Jutsus:
Water Elemental Ninjutsu:
Name: Hidden Mist Rank: D Element: Water Description: This jutsu envelops the surrounding area in a dense mist, reducing visibility within the affected area. The density can be controlled by the user, allowing them to create a mist so thick that even they can't see through it.
Name: Water Clone Rank: C Element: Water Description: The Water Clone Technique is similar to the Shadow Clone Technique except it creates clones out of water. Like other solid clone techniques, the clones can be used to perform tasks the user is unable or unwilling to do for themselves. The range of the clone is limited however, as it can not travel very far from the original body. Additionally, water clones only have one-tenth of the original person's power, as stated by Haku. Like other clone techniques, if the water clones are injured enough they will revert back to normal water.
Name: Water Prison Rank: C Element: Water Description: This jutsu is used to trap a victim inside a virtually inescapable sphere of water. The only downside to this technique is that the user must keep at least one arm inside the sphere at all times in order for the victim to remain imprisoned. Clones can be used in place of the actual person, provided that the clone is the one that performed the technique. This jutsu can't be performed without a sufficiently large body of water to supply the water for it. Neji Hyuga has been able to use his ability to release chakra from all of his pressure points to disrupt the flow of chakra inside the prison and break free. Despite the fact that the prison is made up entirely out of water, and the target is unable to move while within it, the target is still able to speak. When this technique is used on Tenten, she indicates that she cannot breathe, though other characters have not reported the same problem.
Name: Burdock Root Eating Sharks Rank: - Element: Water Description: Kisame slashes a body of water, creating a pillar of water that launches the enemy into the air. He then releases five water sharks that attack the enemy until one devours them before imploding, launching the enemy into the air. The remaining water sharks surround the enemy and force them under water where they implode in on the enemy.
Name: Exploding Water Collision Waves Rank: B Element: Water Description: After spitting out a great volume of water from his mouth, the enemy is swallowed up by this advancing surge and crushed. The user can ride the wave, allowing them to move at high speed, and attack the enemy, now swept off their feet, without fear of counter-attacks. When used with Kisame's enormous chakra, even dry wastelands will turn into an ocean.
Name: Five Feeding Sharks Rank: B Element: Water Description: The user puts his hand on the surface of a body of water and a water shark comes out of each finger to strike the opponent in five consecutive attacks.
Name: Flash Grinding Destruction Rank: - Element: Water Description: Kisame spits a lake of water near the enemy from which water sharks come out and force the enemy up. Kisame then jumps up and slashes the opponent back into the lake, where they are devoured by the sharks.
Name: Great Whirlpool Entwining Rank: - Element: Water Description: Kisame uses a nearby water supply to create a giant water vortex around his sword Samehada. Kisame then wields the vortex as a weapon. He then jumps 10 meters above his opponents and uses his sword with the vortex to smash the water to the ground, killing them.
Name: Infinite Sharks Rank: - Element: Water Description: Kisame summons a water shark to force the enemy under water where Kisame releases an orb of water that releases countless water sharks to strike the enemy before causing a massive implosion.
Name: Underwater Motion Rank: - Element: Water Description: This technique allows the user to propel themselves through a body of water by using their chakra. While underwater, this technique will also partially mask their presence.
Name: Water Shark Breakthrough Rank: - Element: Water Description: Kisame summons a water shark to jump into the air and bolt towards the enemy, striking them.
Name: Water Shark Gun Rank: - Element: Water Description: An advanced version of Water Release: Water Shark Breakthrough in which Kisame can summon up to three sharks at once that advance rapidly towards his opponent and causes severe internal damage.
Name: Water Shark Missile Rank: B Element: Water Description: Water Release: Water Shark Missile Technique is a jutsu that forces water to attack the opponent in the form of a shark.

| Jutsus:
Non-Elemental Ninjutsu:
Name: Substitution Rank: E Element: None Description: This jutsu lets the user quickly switch places with another nearby object, such as a plant (normally a section of a log), an animal, or even another person within reach, leaving the opponent open to a counter-attack. Exploding tags can be attached to the replacement for an added surprise. Fundamentally, all ninja know this technique.
The anime has a number of other objects being used for this jutsu, such as a boulder, mud, a scarecrow, and even a large rolled-up carpet. These items are usually nowhere in sight, suggesting that they are merely gags meant to lighten up the situation and not an actual part of the jutsu. Additionally, the normal practice of switching places with a section of log is done in several places that have no such thing anywhere nearby.
This technique is sometimes referred to as the Art of Projection ("Utsusemi no Jutsu") in other manga and anime series.
Name: Body Flicker Jutsu Rank: D Element: None Description: This is a basic Ninjutsu technique. The ninja will appear & disappear in an instant, allowing them to retreat or attack suddenly. To facilitate the movement, the ninja will often use nearby elements such as mist, sand or leaves to mask their appearence or disappearence.
Name: Escaping Skill Rank: E Element: None Description: This is a very basic Ninjutsu technique that allows teh ninja to escape from rope binds.
Name: Transformation Jutsu Rank: E Element: None Description: This is a Ninjutsu technique that everyone learns at the ninja academy. Henge allows the ninja to transform themselves into any person or object. This allows the ninja to move with stealth or trick their opponents.
Name: Release Rank: E Element: None Description: This jutsu allows the ninja to avoid the effects of a Genjutsu illusion. After forming the needed hand seals, the Genjutsu technique will not affect the ninja. The ninja can also use the technique on another individual who was unable to avoid the attack. After forming the needed hand seals, the ninja touches the one affected to end the affect of the spell.
Name: Tree Climbing Rank: - Element: None Description: Kinobori no Waza, the art of tree climbing serves a dual purpose. Taking part in Kinobori Shugyou (Tree Climbing Training) helps a ninja learn how to focus their chakra. It also teaches the ninja how to run up trees and walk on vertical walls. The training helps the ninja learn how to focus just the right amount of chakra to a particular part of their body. The amount needed to climb is small but it must be precise. The feet are regarded as the hardest location to master chakra focusing. So by gaining the art of this skill, the ninja will have any jutsu available (theoretically) because they will be able to focus their chakra as needed.
Name: Water Walking Rank: - Element: None Description: A variation on the Kinobori no Waza (Act of Tree Climbing), the art of water surface walking allows a ninja to walk on water as if it was a solid surface. Focusing an even amount of chakra out of the soles of their feet, they can balance themselves on the very surface of the water.
Name: Waterfall Running Rank: - Element: None Description: A variation of the Tree Climbing and Water Walking exercises. The Waterfall Running technique is a combination of Tree Climbing and Water Walking. The user combines both teachings of the first two chakra control exercises in order to run up a waterfall.
