Kisame Gets His Apprentice

Kisame and Itachi were currently waiting in the training grounds they met Kurai in, waiting for her to show up.

Kurai walked into the clearing, one hand in her pocket. "Well, i'm keeping my end of the deal...i found no sensei,"

"Excellent. Come with us brat. I'll turn you into a Shinobi Swordswoman" Kisame said with a grin.

"I'd rather you didnt call me 'brat'..." She raised an eyebrow. "Or i'm gonna call you 'Sushi'..."

"I'M NOT SUSHI!!! GET OVER HERE BRAT" he yelled at her as he charged after her.

(Don't worry, he's not gonna hurt her. He's just gonna start one of those hilarious chase scenes in the animes)

"Sorry, Sushi, no can do," She shrugged. "If you use my name then i'll use yours," She jumped up into one of the trees.

"I'LL KILL YOU BRAT" yelled Kisame as he ran after her, swinging Samehada. Itachi shook his head and followed them.

She sighed. "You're certainly about as intelligent as the sushi..." She flipped into another tree.

"HOW DARE YOU!!! MY MOTHER WAS SERVED UP AS SUSHI!!! I'LL INCINERATE YOU BRAT" yelled Kisame, who was practically foaming at the mouth at this point.

"Yes but i'm not insulting your mother. I'm insulting you...And thats only because you started it...Its a vicious circle, Sushi.."

Kisame roared in anger and continued chasing after her until his head hit a tree branch.

She stopped and looked at him over her shoulder, fighting back a smirk and a chuckle.

"Stop fooling around. We must leave before the ANBU and Hunter-nin find us here" said Itachi as he caught up with them.

"Right, my apologies,"
She said as she landed on the ground and bowed.
"Will i have to permanently leave the leaf? Or can i still stay here but be taught by Su--Kisame.."

"We will take you away temporarily. We already got you permission to leave the village on a training trip. You'll be back in time for the Chuunin Exams" Itachi explained calmly as he slapped Kisame in the face, waking him up from unconsciousness.

She nodded.
"I see...What is it you want in return for this favour?"

"Nothing" said Itachi as he turned away from her.

Nothing...? Thats unusual...
"Alright, then lead the way,"
She nodded.

Itachi nodded and started heading for the border of Rain Country. Kisame grabbed Kurai by the scruf of the t-shirt on her neck and followed after him.

She growled slightly but let him do so,not wanting to cause any more trouble.

"So tell me brat, do you like swords?" Kisame asked her.

"Its Kurai! Is that SO hard for you to comprehend?" She sighed, calming herself.
"Yes, i do. I work part time at the weapons store in konoha so i can try the latest katanas,"

"Well Kurai, my old friend Zabuza was killed by that tyrant Gatou. His sword, Kubikiri Houchou, is just sitting there at his grave. It's a zanbatou. We're going to get that sword so YOU can have it" Kisame explained with a grin.

"H-hold on! That thing is huge! Are you sure i can weild a sword of that magnitude?"

Kisame looked around for a moment and then leaned in until his face was next to her ear. "There's a little secret about Zabuza's sword Kurai. You see, despite that sword being as large as it is, the sword is actually incredibly light. It weighs about as much as a regular katana" he whispered to her.
